The more personal side of the blog — unfiltered thoughts on ordinary days.

On building a life that doesn't need an audience

I started this blog because I wanted somewhere to put the things I noticed — not to perform them. There's a difference between documenting a life and curating one for an audience, and I think about that line more than I used to, especially on the days when a photo doesn't get taken because I was too busy living in the moment it would have captured.

This isn't a post against sharing — clearly, I still do it. It's a reminder to myself, and maybe to you, that the good stuff usually happens before you reach for your phone. Some of my favorite mornings this year were never posted anywhere at all.

What a cleared countertop taught me about my head

The more I decluttered my apartment, the more I noticed how much mental clutter I'd been carrying too. Emptying a junk drawer turned into a genuinely useful lesson about what I let take up space — physically and otherwise.

I'm not claiming a tidy shelf fixes anything on its own. But there's something to the ritual of choosing, carefully, what stays. It's the same muscle whether you're clearing a countertop or a head full of shoulds.
