About the journal
Part home tour, part reading list, part travel diary, part open journal — this is where I keep track of it all.
The short version
Photos of rooms I liked, quotes from books I couldn't stop thinking about, voice memos recorded from airport gates when I didn't want to forget a detail. At some point I had enough of it to make something out of — so thesadafedit became the place where those notes actually go, instead of disappearing into a camera roll.
I'm not interested in anything that looks too perfect. I like a cluttered bookshelf, a lamp that's a little too warm, a room that clearly has someone living in it. That's the standard everything on this site is held to.
